SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Paper Submission Guidelines

Submit your paper in two steps

01 Sign in with your CERPS member account
02 Complete the submission form and upload an anonymous DOCX manuscript

  • Upload an anonymous full manuscript in DOCX format, up to 100MB per file. Remove all author names, affiliations and other identifying information from the manuscript.
  • The abstract must not exceed 300 characters, and no more than five keywords are allowed. Both are used in the conference handbook and must match the submitted paper.
  • List all authors in manuscript order and designate one corresponding author.
  • Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis. Submissions cannot be modified after they are sent; verify the manuscript and all details before submitting.
  • After successful submission, every author will receive a bilingual Chinese-English receipt by email.

Papers must not exceed 20 pages. Please follow the manuscript template.

REVIEW & RECOMMENDATION

Paper Review and Recommendation Process

  1. Call for papers: see the Paper Submission Guidelines in this section for requirements, the template, and manuscript uploads.
  2. 2027.02.15(Mon): Review results will be emailed to corresponding authors and announced on this website.
  3. There are three review outcomes:
    • A. Not accepted for the conference handbook.
    • B. Accepted for the conference handbook.
    • C. Accepted for the conference handbook and recommended to a journal.
  4. Authors with outcome B or C should check presentation sessions, registration, and travel information on this site. Bring your own slides.
  5. For outcome C, the recommended journal will be emailed on 2027.02.15(Mon) .

Revisions and Documents for Journal Recommendation

The original title and abstract are included in the conference handbook. Authors accepting a journal recommendation must revise and prepare the following:

  1. Revise the paper to match the recommended journal's format and page limits.
  2. Revise the title, abstract, and content in response to reviewers' comments.
  3. Prepare the revised Word manuscript (anonymous full text).
  4. Prepare the revised Word manuscript (full text with author details).
  5. Prepare the author's response in Word: Download Response Template.
  6. To decline the journal recommendation, complete the Recommendation Withdrawal Declaration, and email it within 10 days of notification to conf@cerps.org.tw.

  1. 2027.03.01(Mon) (late submissions are not accepted): revise the title, abstract, and content according to the journal format and reviewers' comments, and send both anonymous and identified full texts and the author's response to conf@cerps.org.tw.
  2. 2027.03.02(Tue)–2027.03.10(Wed): Review of revised manuscripts.
  3. 2027.03.20(Sat): Paper presentation in English, with the IMDS Editor-in-Chief as discussant.
  4. 2027.04.08(Thu): Authors notified whether they receive IMDS Fast Track Review.
  5. Revise according to the IMDS Editor-in-Chief's advice and submit to IMDS.

PLEASE NOTE

Important Notes

  • Authors of accepted papers must present in person. Failure to present will result in a two-year submission ban.
  • Bring your PowerPoint slides on a USB drive. MS Office 2016 is available at the venue.
  • No copyright transfer is required. Abstracts will be included in the conference handbook for ISBN registration; full papers may subsequently be submitted to other conferences or journals.
  • The organizers reserve the right to change the event and awards without prior notice and to interpret and adjudicate all event matters.
